Rome derby start moved up for security reasons (AP)

ROME (AP)—Police as well as football officials have agreed to move up a kickoff forSunday’s Rome derby by two hours due to security worries.

The Lazio-AS Roma diversion will start at 6:30 p.m. (1630 GMT), as opposed to8:30 p.m. (1830 GMT) as formerly scheduled.

Roma binds a one-point lead over Inter Milan in a Serie A with five gamesremaining.

When a clubs met in December, a diversion was dangling for nearly 10 minutesduring a initial half due to exploding firecrackers in a stands.

In 2004, a derby was stopped three minutes into a second half when afalse rumor widespread by a track which police had killed a child outward thestadium, sparking riots.
