ROME (AP)—Italian soccer association president Giancarlo Abete has guaranteed“equal treatment for all” following new revelations in the match-fixingscandal.

Abete addressed the issue at the association assembly Thursday, the day afterJuventus—the club hardest strike by the scandal—issued the statement looking fairtreatment for all parties involved.

Italian media have for multiform days printed purported phone-tap conversationslinking Inter Milan as well as alternative clubs to the scandal. Inter was awarded the 2006Serie A title after Juventus was nude of the honor as well as relegated to Serie Bdue to its involvement in the scandal.
