NEWCASTLE, England (AP)—Peru midfielder Nolberto Solano has been arrested onsuspicion of rape.
Solano, who plays for second-tier English bar Leicester, was expelled onpolice bail after being arrested at his house in Newcastle on Monday after anallegation was done by a 22-year-old woman.
“Nobby (Solano) denies a allegations in full as well as is auxiliary andassisting a military fully with their enquiries,” Leicester pronounced in astatement. “Nobby is looking for a speedy resolution as well as has a full support ofLeicester City Football Club.”
